For example, the Devices Limit help messages uses "CXC HP controllers" which omits important branding. Suggest "Cordex® CXC HP controllers".
CXC HP is easily understood by an internal audience, but we should always use the full product name in all instances.
Reinforcement of brands is important.
That said, by including the HP, this implies that EnVision only works with High Performance series controllers (meaning it will not work with non-HP controllers). The other consideration is whether the upcoming Cordex® controllers will use the HP moniker or if there will be a different moniker. This is a consideration for future-proofing these help messages. For example, if the next generation controller has the moniker HP2, do these messages need to be updated.
Does anyone review these. I noticed this was submitted back in October but no one commented or acknowledge the feedback.
CXC-HP Configuration is a good example where the lack of clarity is an issue as CXC HP is used for all controllers and peripherals so it sounds like I can view both Cordex CXC HP controllers and Cordex CXC HP smart peripherals on this page but only controllers are listed.
